Bells Of Peace & Toronto Love At St. Barnabas Church

MEDIA ALERT
EAST END ARTS JOINS ST. BARNABAS CHURCH FOR A DAY OF PEACE AND LOVE
Sunday, November 11, 2018, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 361 Danforth Avenue, Toronto

Press, supporters and community members are invited to join East End Arts and St. Barnabas Anglican Church on Sunday November 11, 2018 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm to honour the Bells of Peace ceremony, and to view and contribute to the Toronto Love Project. This will be a day of remembrance and unity for members of the east Toronto community – a much needed reminder of peace and support during troubling times.

Bells of Peace will honour the 100th anniversary of the First World War, and encourage communities across Canada to ring a bell 100 times.

Toronto Love Project is a community art installation made of quilt banners, originally created to offer hope, positivity and support to the North York community after the tragedy of April 23, 2018. The installation was gifted to East End Arts after the tragedy of July 22, 2018 on Danforth Avenue.
