Learn about our current Clubhouse Collaborators, or artists, collectives, and organizations that we work with to help animate St. Matthew’s Clubhouse with arts programming and events!
Here at East End Arts, we are committed to making St. Matthew’s Clubhouse (at 450 Broadview Avenue) a lively, thriving community hub in East Toronto! While we use this space to present many of our own arts programs and events, we also partner with many unique artists, art collectives, and creative organizations to support them in their artistic practice, and/or to engage more audiences across the east end.
We know that artists, arts organizations, collectives, and small community groups struggle to find low cost, accessible space, which is why we prioritize the use of our space at discounted rates for artistic activity and local events. Clubhouse Collaborators are artists, collectives, or arts organizations that receive subsidized space at our home for recurring and/or consistent artistic programming that:
- Helps to serve priority groups in our community.
- Focuses on an artistic medium or practice that EEA is not already focusing on through our own programs.
- Offers free or low-cost options for people to participate (if open to the public).
Clubhouse collaborators are typically artists/collectives/organizations that we’ve worked with through other programs and initiatives, and who have demonstrated an ability to present reliable, quality arts programming. If you would like to explore what working in our space might look like, you can visit our Rental Form to submit a request, or our Partnership Form to submit a request.
