Eileen Arandiga was born in Paris, France and raised in Fremantle, Western Australia. Eileen is an experienced arts administrator, film programmer and curator who has spent over twenty years embedded in the cultural industries in Toronto. Eileen has worked for the Canadian Film Centre, TIFF, Hot Docs and was the co-founder of OzFlix a film festival which celebrated Australian film in both Toronto and Vancouver. Eileen has recently spent a year in Australia working for the City of Perth running a month-long heritage festival. Eileen has served on many volunteer boards and advisory committees, participated and moderated panel discussions and workshops and been an active participant in the vibrant cultural scene in Toronto. Eileen is thrilled to be bringing her experience and enthusiasm to East End Arts as Executive Director. When not working Eileen can be found hiking and bird watching with her family and baking (not always successfully!).
