Create unique “art you can touch” with Kyla’s Yager’s Tactile Art Workshop!
Participants are invited to wrap up our ArtMEETS season with an exciting tactile art workshop led by local east end artist, Kyla Yager! She refers to this art form in her professional practice as Fidget Fine Art, because she personally creates “art you can touch” to create more accessibility within fine art spaces, so that sensory-seeking or vision impaired art viewers can experience the art and its tactile nature. This workshop will invite participants to use mini hot glue guns, and vibrant coloured acrylic paints and gel varnishes to create their own unique piece of tactile art to take home.
