This August, Shadowland Theatre is bringing their Migration Celebration to Dentonia and R.V. Burgess Park! Shadowland Theatre’s three-day residencies in both parks will consist of drop-in arts and nature workshops and a culminating community parade, so come by and join in the fun! Migration Celebration uses theatre arts to honour the vital role of birds, butterflies and animals in our ecosystems and daily lives. All ages are welcome to join Shadowland to create costumes and puppets, learn music and songs, go on nature walks, share stories and experience Indigenous teachings. East End Arts is a presenting partner on both of these residencies. Here’s what you need to know to get involved:
