They/Them
Danni Hernandez is an emerging arts and culture professional and creative based in Toronto. With an education in Environmental Design from OCADU, they have a multidisciplinary approach to art-making that explores diverse influences ranging from architectural drafting, to fashion & life drawing, to animation. Previous to East End Arts, Danni worked in art consulting, where their passion for working with local artists and storytelling through art began. Their main interest now focuses on how art can serve as a tool for healing in these complex times of compounding crises and uplift marginalized groups, especially queer racialized youth.
Outside of work, Danni also loves getting creative with movement in all forms, whether it be through dance, yoga, weight lifting or their latest side quest – boxing!
