Maeve is a community arts educator and social worker based in the East End of Toronto. While earning a Bachelor of Social Work at Toronto Metropolitan University, she discovered community arts programming, an intersection of her interest in social services and her passion for art. She specializes in supporting youth through arts based programming, using art as a tool for building community, advocacy, and allyship. She is excited to bring her experience in programming and facilitation to East End Arts this Summer.
Maeve is engaged in a variety of art mediums in both her personal and professional life, and believes strongly that art and creativity is for everyone. In her downtime you can find her knitting, collaging, or writing, most likely by the lake!
