Chelsea was born and raised on the shores of Lake Superior (Thunder Bay, ON), and has always had a passion for capturing the world around her, and sharing unique stories through words, pictures, or art: she is an enthusiastic writer, illustrator, creator and photographer. Chelsea holds a master’s degree in English Literature and Women’s Studies from Lakehead University, and a post-graduate diploma in Professional Writing and Communications from Humber College. Currently she is studying graphic design at George Brown College as part of a Continuing Education Program. Previous to joining the East End Arts team, Chelsea worked for Toronto Arts Foundation and Toronto Arts Council, and the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. As the Communications & Development Coordinator, Chelsea writes and curates all the communications and marketing materials to support and expand East End Arts. When Chelsea is not working you can find her camping with her dog, cooking, drinking copious amounts of tea, painting, gardening, or working on some type of creative project.
