Hailing from a small town in southern Ontario, Caroline Tuccinardi is honing her skills as a storyteller at Humber Polytechnic’s creative writing program in Toronto. She is a fourth-year student and managing editor for Arrival Magazine, Humber’s student-run creative arts magazine. Bringing Arrival’s issues to life has shaped Caroline’s passions in bringing artists’ voices together. Through schooling and time as a daycare assistant, Caroline also has experience in community arts’ programming and youth engagement, and she is looking forward to serving the East End this summer.
Caroline’s portfolio includes fantasy stories and poetry, and their poem “Harvest Messages.exe” was recently published in the Darkness Falls anthology. Her future goals include publishing more of her short fiction and writing scripts for television. When not writing or sketching, Caroline can be found staring up at the stars or watching kid’s cartoons.
