Embodying decolonial love in the time of pandemia
Greenhouse Theatre, a Scarborough-based collective of queer artists of colour, is bringing you the online event: Decolonial Love. They seek to activate healing, creative vitality, and community care through authentic, embodied storytelling.
In a series of conversation with revolutionary creators, we ask, in these times:
What spells of survival and creativity did our ancestors conjure in similar times and how do we create spaces of healing and storytelling that honour their/our resilience, freedom, and the (r)evolutions now needed?
How can we embody and create ecosystems of life, love and safety that activate relations of care beyond colonially-constructed separations in our relationship to ourselves, community, gender, and the land?
How can we strengthen our capacity to regenerate and heal ourselves and the land in our remembering?
This conversation is open to BIPOC
