Known for the abstract cityscapes of her reflections series, artist Carmela Casuccio has taken an exciting turn in a new body of work debuting at Yellow House Gallery on September 15th, 2017.

Moving into the imagined city, this new work explores the spaces that could only be glimpsed from a distance in the past. Referencing deconstructed architecture, it is as if the viewer can see the scene from many angles at once. Her paintings capture the layers we cannot see, the stories beneath the cityscape.
