Toronto artist and urban geographer Daniel Rotsztain has visited and sketched more than 100 of Toronto’s historic sites, capturing their unique architectural features and even some of their quirky and beloved artifacts!
These drawings, featured in the colouring book A Colourful History Toronto published by Dundurn Press, offer Papermill Gallery visitors a chance to see the original drawings created by the artist along with his captions and comments.
Daniel Rotsztain has also visited and sketched all the Toronto Public Libraries. Explore All the Libraries.
This project is presented as part of TO Canada with Love, the City of Toronto’s year-long program of celebrations, commemorations and exhibitions honouring Canada’s 150th birthday.
