Shakespeare is Boffo! goes home to St. David’s Anglican Church for three summer programs running through the Richard III Parts 1-2-3 cycle. Shakespeare is Boffo! puts a soft sword in the hands of children (and adults) teaching Shakespeare and general theatre arts skills through Shakespeare’s fight scenes.

Camps are offered throughout the year and found in either one day or week-long formats. All materials are supplied, and kids will combine learning and fun as they are engaged in camps including Mission 2 Space, Interesting Inventions, Minecraft, Jr. Robotics, Minion Mania, Superheroes, Cranium Contraptions, and Brick-A-Palooza.

Children's Arts Theatre School Summer Camp 2015

Children’s Peace Theatre 305 Dawes Road
Every July, Children’s Peace Theatre runs a three-week Peace Camp. 12 accomplished professional artists and 18 youth and junior guides work with 45 children aged 8-13 in a collaborative process. Together, they create an original production, complete with original musical score and visual production pieces, based on explorations of relevant social issues and the children’s visions of peace.

The Circus Academy 1300 Gerrard Street East
Kids are introduced to the magic of circus under the guidance of professional circus performers. Activities include the basics of juggling, stilt walking, tumbling, clowning & aerial acrobatics, as well as outdoor activities and short lunchtime circus films. Parents are invited to a final presentation where students showcase their new skills in a mini circus show.

City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation offers high quality camps that provide a fun, safe and exciting experience. Camps offer a wide range activities for children 4+ and youth, including arts and crafts, music, visual arts, dance and more, that suit every child’s interests and needs, including individuals with disabilities and special needs. City of Toronto Summer Camps 2016

The Clay Room 279 Danforth Avenue
Crafts, Clay & Creativity. The Clay Room camps are for children 7 to 11 years of age. The children explore with a variety of mediums creating their own masterpieces. Activities include Papier Mâche, pinch, coil & slab pottery, ceramic painting, fabric & paper fun, beading, jewelry craft, yarn activities plus a variety of other mixed media. Summer camp is available in week long ½ day sessions. Camp themes include: Costa Rica, Tropical Reef, and Magical Garden.

The Photography Summer Camps at Lens Work offer a unique opportunity for teens to learn about photography and editing in a fun, hands-on environment. Each camp offers small groups to ensure your child gets quality instruction and supervision. The camps and associated activities are specifically geared toward the different age groups and run by a professional photographer who is also a qualified and experienced teacher and instructor. The Campers will learn about the different principals of photography and have ample time to practice under supervision, both in the studio and outside. All campers will go home with a mounted print of their work at the end of their session.

Summer Camps at LucSculpture allow children to explore their creativity through activities such as etching, pastel, painting, clay, collage, music, craft, mixed media, creative movement, storytelling, theatre, pottery and more. There are 4 creative activities each day that help to develop your child’s creativity and sense of touch with different activities biweekly. Most activities can also be taught in French. Summer camps run from July 4 to September 2. Early registration is recommended.

My Artlab Summer Camps take place both indoors in the art studio and outdoors in the garden. Children work on small and large scale projects such as models, installation, and performances. Each camp also gives children an opportunity to climb a rock wall and participate in yoga sessions. Camp themes include Funky Geometry, Me Myself and I, In the Land of Lines, Up on the Hill, Cirque, and Shape of a Star.

Kids will take home the crafts and art they may create.
